Product Overview

Steel pallets are reusable logistics platforms manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel, or other project-specified steel grades. Their strength, rigidity, dimensional stability, and resistance to impact make them suitable for loads and operating conditions that may exceed the practical limits of wood or plastic pallets.

They are commonly selected for heavy industrial products, repeated closed-loop handling, hygiene-sensitive processing, cold or high-temperature environments, fire-conscious facilities, export shipping, and automated systems that require a consistent pallet interface. Designs can be reinforced, enclosed, foldable, wheeled, or fitted with posts and other accessories.

Structure & Configuration

• Material choices include carbon steel and stainless steel, selected for load, corrosion, hygiene, temperature, and cleaning requirements.
• Reinforcing ribs, formed sections, welded joints, and deck patterns are designed around the target load and support conditions.
• Fork-entry direction, tine clearance, deck style, underside support, stacking method, and rack interface are project-specific.
• Dimensional accuracy can be tailored for conveyors, automated storage, robotics, positioning stops, or other equipment interfaces.
• With suitable use and maintenance, service life may exceed 10 years in some applications; actual life depends on environment and handling.

Planning & Safety Notes

• Static, dynamic, racking, stacking, point-load, and impact requirements must be defined separately.
• Pallet compatibility should be verified with forklifts, rack beams, conveyors, lifts, robots, and transport equipment.
• Hygiene or regulatory suitability depends on material grade, weld quality, surface finish, drainability, cleaning process, and site validation; the pallet alone does not establish compliance.
• Although initial cost is higher than many wood or plastic alternatives, lifecycle cost should consider service life, repair, loss rate, cleaning, and recycling value.
