WAREHOUSE RACKING SYSTEM | PRODUCT 01

Product Overview

Heavy-duty pallet racking, also known as selective pallet racking or beam racking, is one of the most widely used storage systems in industrial warehouses. Built around upright frames and horizontal load beams, it provides a strong, straightforward structure for storing palletized goods at multiple levels.

Every pallet position faces an operating aisle, allowing forklift operators to access individual loads without moving other pallets first. Adjustable beam levels, modular bays, and a broad range of safety accessories make the system suitable for changing inventories, different pallet heights, and facilities that need dependable day-to-day throughput.

Key Benefits

  • High load capacity: typical level loads range from approximately 500 to 3,000 kg or more, subject to the final engineering design.
  • Full pallet selectivity: each pallet position can be accessed directly, supporting flexible FIFO or LIFO inventory strategies.
  • Adjustable storage levels: beam elevations can typically be changed in 50 mm or 75 mm increments to suit different pallet-and-load heights.
  • Modular and expandable: standardized frames and beams simplify installation, relocation, extension, and future layout changes.
  • Clear visibility: the open structure makes pallet labels easy to see and supports faster stock checks and location management.
  • Proven value: a mature, practical system with a strong balance of capacity, access, durability, and cost.

Structure & Configuration

  • Upright frames consist of paired vertical columns connected by horizontal and diagonal bracing for stability.
  • Load beams connect to the upright perforations with hooked end connectors and are secured with safety locks or bolts.
  • Back-to-back or single-row layouts can be designed around the building, pallet dimensions, clear height, and forklift turning radius.
  • Aisle widths are determined by the selected handling equipment; conventional forklift layouts often require around 3 m or more.
  • Loads are normally supported on pallets placed directly across the beams; support bars or decking can be added where required.

Ideal Applications

  • Manufacturing warehouses and finished-goods storage
  • Third-party logistics and distribution centers
  • Retail and wholesale distribution operations
  • Cold storage facilities
  • Any warehouse that requires direct access to a wide range of palletized SKUs

Options & Accessories

  • Pallet support bars and wire-mesh decking
  • Column protectors, end-of-row barriers, and impact guards
  • Back mesh, pallet stops, row spacers, and anti-fall protection
  • Aisle identification, location labels, and load signage
  • Custom bay widths, beam levels, finishes, and load ratings

Planning & Safety Notes

  • Final capacity depends on the upright profile, beam section, bay width, number of levels, pallet type, and load distribution.
  • Rack height and aisle width must be coordinated with forklift reach, turning requirements, and operating clearances.
  • Floor capacity, slab condition, anchoring, seismic conditions, fire protection, and local codes must be reviewed before installation.
  • Impact protection and routine inspection are important because forklift contact can damage uprights and connections.
