Product Overview

Cantilever racking is purpose-built for materials that are difficult to store on conventional pallet racks. Horizontal arms extend from strong vertical columns to support pipes, profiles, bars, timber, panels, rolls, furniture components, and other long or irregular loads.

Because the loading face has no front columns or beams, forklifts and other handling equipment can approach the goods with minimal obstruction. Arm length, level spacing, number of supports, and single- or double-sided configuration can all be tailored to the dimensions, weight, deflection characteristics, and handling method of the stored products.

Planning & Safety Notes

• Loads must be evenly supported and centered; unbalanced loading or overloading can reduce system stability.
• Aisles may need to be wider than standard pallet-rack aisles, especially when forklifts handle very long products from the side.
• The number and spacing of support arms must prevent excessive product deflection or unstable overhang.
• Final design should verify floor capacity, anchoring, rack stability, material handling clearances, and applicable safety codes.
